lunch

i'm sitting at my desk eating a fantastic salad that i'm going to try and recreate this weekend. 

greens (the darker the better)
mango
bacon
avacado
tomatoes
blue cheese

i'm not a huge fan of the dressing that they put on this downstairs. 
i think i'll try my luck at making one with this mixture of sorts:
mango (or tropical) odwalla/naked juice.  It's usually thick, almost the texture of puree.
some kind of light vinegar like champagne or white wine or rice wine
a splash of olive oil
salt & pepper
a clove of garlic cut in half for flavor. . . but not too much
and maybe a yellow spice like terrigon or saffron. . . but i'll have to smell them all before i commit.
